Hi, I have a webasto h300 spoiler sunroof, it pops open but it doesn't slide open over the roof as it's supposed to, what could be the problem?

From everything I've read you will either turn the car off and hold the open or close button (try them both separately on different tries) while starting the car and waiting around ten second and you should hear a noise indicating the reset. This didn't work for my wife's car. On the Cadillac website it said that if your battery has died and you have charged it simply unhook your battery ( I left mine unhooked for approx one minute) and hooked it back up and it worked. No need to take it out. You can just unplug it or find and remove the correct fuse. Look for FrenchMike - rover forum - and send the webasto pcb to him for repair. Its simple to remove the pcb.

They're placed under the bunk. The fuel tank doesn't need to be removed for the pickup, but you will have to loosen the straps and rotate it typically in order to install the pickup tube and fuel pump.

I work in a shop that installs aftermarket power moonroofs. We install Webasto/Hollandia, do a google search and see who installs them in your area, they have recommended installers. The process involves removing the upper interior trim panels and headliner, installing the moonroof, modifying and recovering the existing headliner and then reinstalling them. Prices may very, my shop is the only one in our area and we get around $1500 which is closer to the high end. I would definitely encourage you to research various roofs.
