Hi Mark. Unfortunately, it sounds like the device that transfers power (called the "lopt") to the bulb is wearing out. The color issue is also a frequent one when the power train within the TV starts to go bad. There aren't any replacement screens, and I'm not aware of any way to repair the issue as there aren't any replacement Transformers available. Changing the bulb won't help, because its not getting enough juice as is. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like there's no real way to repair of fix your TV.
