Consider nursing school for a start.
The only requirement is that you have a high school diploma. Once you are in college, you can begin to pursue to your degree in nursing.
I'm a pediatric nurse. it depends on what classes are offered in high school and what state you live in and what their requirements are in order to get a college degree in nursing. generally, biology & chemistry classes, sociology, psychology, anatomy & physiology 1&2, medical terminology is a good class to take to understand medical terms with the prefix's and suffix's
Pediatric nurses must first complete nursing program either at a college, hospital, or university and earn an associate's or bachelor's degree. To become a pediatric nurse one also has to pass an exam to become a registered nurse. They can then apply for positions in pediatric offices and hospitals.
Yes you can. there are nursing programs available for high school grads at most Junior Colleges/Community Colleges. Get an AA degree then you can move into a BA degree in nursing at a university
can you enter nursing school in Ontario without a highschool diploma The answer is NO.
In order to become a pediatric nurse you need to volunteer at a hosptal while you are in high school. This will help with your expierience. Then before you graduate you have to take a test called the NLN which your guidance counselor can tell you about. If you look on the internet for the NLN it will surely prepare you for whats on it. Then after you PASS the test you become a RN (registered nurse) and you need to apply for Medical school which can vary from 2-3 years. After that or during that schooling you need to have your bachelors in Science and you need to get you AA degree in Nursing Science and Nursing English. The nursing AA degree in science is NOT the same as your bachelor degree in Science. Then when you are done with all that schooling you become a nurse and you can go to college for 2 more years to specialize in anything such as PEDIATRIC NURSING. Well good luck with your career, and have fun with it! -TaylorFirst it requires the education necessary to become a Registered Nurse, followed by experience. The exact requirements depend on the State.

Getting into a Nursing program does not depend on your high school diploma alone. If you fail to get into a nursing program then it does not mean that your school diploma is fake, may be you don't have required GPA, or may be the nursing school doesn't like your essay, there could be a number of reasons. Improve your overall admission application and you will get into a nursing program.
