In high school to prepare for a career in criminology, you should probably focus on history and if offered, classes on society. Highschool offers the basic liberal courses to help you excel to the next stage which of higher education. However, once in college, you should study criminal justice, sociology, or physcology and then continue onto your masters level.

To get into the courses at university you need to get your VCE or minimum ATAR for South Australia with English which varies each year depending on demand. The subject you only need is English but, it would be a good idea to complete phycology in year 12.
