I think you are asking whether or not the higher the dosage of clomid more likely you are to get pregnant--- not necessarily because treatment starts at 50 mg for five days, the intervals are called cycles. The dr. will check for ovulation after the cycle--if you ovulate, you will remain on that dose for all cycles--normally six. if no ovulation, dr. will increase to 100mg. and try that dose for that entire cycle. The highest dose is 250mg but very few women go up that high cause of the effectiveness of clomid. usually after a couple of increases it will be combined with another fertility med.
