Einsatzgruppe (Special Operations Unit)
They were called Einsatgruppen (or SD-Einsatgruppen). In English they are often referred to as mobile killing units.
The (Jewish) Sonderkommando, or special squads were known under many different names. They were squads made up of inmates who worked in the killing centers, dealing with the people before the Nazis killed them and with the the processing and disposal after the murders.

a kommando is just a squad. on the easter front 'Sonderkommando' (special squads) were sent out to kill Jews. work groups from concentration camps were call kommandos, they were named after their leader, so if the leader was called Patel, then the squad would be called the Patelkommando. in many of the death camp the 'stokers' (to give them their offical title) were called Sonderkommado (special squads) - known now as Jewish Sonderkommando as not to be confused with the pre-existing Sonderkommando.
