Well it would be a great question were it true but it's not. This is one of those "it's so weird it must be true" myths.
Do you turn on your heater in the summer? No. Do sales of hot drinks rise in the summer? No.
We are constantly doing things to offset the temperature changes. Its natural. Having hot showers or drinking hot drinks or turning on our heaters in the summer are not natural.
Having a hot drink in a warm climate will raise the core temperature of the body which will cause the body to start sweating, the sweat will evaporate and thus cool the body down, please bear in mind that the perception of heat is relative to the person feeling the heat.
Not really. The idea is that doing so will make you sweat, which is turn will cool you as the perspiration evaporates. But the truth is, if you're already too hot, you're already perspiring. Cool tea would work better in this case.
Yes, the hot tea warms up the inside of your body and therefore equalling the heat you feel on your skin, helping your body regulate it's temperature. As your body core feels warmer, the warmth outside your body feel more bearable hence the saying 'a nice refreshing cuppa tea' on a hot day
NO THEY RISE THE TEMP
Yes it can.
The myth that states it will make you sweat, which will evaporate.. cooling you off is not true. But your body has to cool the hot drink down to make it body temperature, in doing so it causes the body's internal temperature to drop making you in general cooler.
sweat
It sweats.
sweating is how the body cools itself down.
because when it is a hot day,you sweat for you to cool down.sweat cool you down is because it is also water.
Your hot. Or your working out. Its to cool down the body temperature.
Common sense says no, drinking something hot will make you hot as well.
It's your body trying to adjust yourblood flow to cool your body down
Sweating is the main way of keeping cool. Drinking lots of water is also very important.
The skin keep the body cool by sweating. When the body gets too hot as you may know by exercising you begin to perspire. This is how the body cools itself down.
The benefits of drinking lukewarm water is that your body doesn't have to cool the water from hot water or warm up the water from cold water. This saves energy and does not put stress on your body.
Just like humans sweat to cool there body down, birds ruffle their feathers to cool themselves down
