### You make a million a year how much do you make an hour?

Well that is a pretty vague question. But providing the person
worked an average of 40 hours a week all 52 weeks a year. It would
average about $480.77 an hour. Here is the math.
40 (hours a week) x 52 (weeks in a year) = 2080 (total hours
worked in one year)
$1,000,000 (yearly salary) / 2080 (hours worked a year) =
480.7692308
Hope this helps ya out...and i wish you luck on getting that job
because i could use it too.

### If you make 38000 a year what is your hourly rate?

Well it really depends on how many hours you put in to make that
amount.
But if you use the standard working hours:
8 hours a day, 5 days a week = 40 hours per week.
That's 160 hours a month
Times that by 12 months your total of hours worked in one year is
1920 hours
So, if you made 38,000 per year and you worked 1920 hours = $19.80
per hour
Now imagine your a CEO who makes 5 million a year and you only work
half of the year...

###### Asked in Microsoft Excel

### How do you calculate overtime hours in Excel?

You need to know the standard hours worked and the actual hours
worked. Then you need to get the difference between them, by using
subtraction. If the amount of hours worked is more than the
standard hours, then you can get the amount of extra hours worked.
You would just use standard subtraction formulas. So if the hours
worked were in A2 and the standard hours were in A3, you could have
a formula like:
=A2 - A3
