By car model and year was built.
i dont know you tell me
you can only tell by the serial number on the engine and a decode book.
gotta find the VIN number on the fram the serial number wont tell anything but the date of manufacture of the engine
With Johnson outboards, we cannot tell you the age from the serial number. If you tell us the HP of the engine, and it's model number (usually on the clamp bracket), then we can tell you how old it is.
i have to engine s/n one is P040701 and G92603 can you tell me what year they are.
Depends on the manufacture. On Chevy for instance, the engine Serial# will tell you where the engine was made, month, year, and vehicle it was installed in. Use Google to search for engine codes for your vehicle.
Yes, if you have the frame number (and the bike is original) phone your Honda parts dealer and he can tell you the model and year of manufacture.
88-95=.35 96-98=.60
You must inform the DVLA of a change of engine and provide them with the new engine serial number. A section of you v5 will be made for this purpose.
Count 8 up from the last number on the VIN or go to a dealer and tell them the number and they can help you.
should be in the serial #, I can tell just by looking at the engine.
Just the serial number is not enough to tell who or what you have.
