No. School is like building a fence. If one section of the fence is left out it will fall down. What is learned in 6th grade is needed to build on in 7th. Unless a student is a genius and can do sixth grade work he/she needs to stay in 6th.
It is cruel and nasty to try and make a sixth grade boy cry. It does not prove a point on your part and you will be labeled a bully and a label you would well deserve.
