Searching Tweets history may sound impractical, but I assure you it’s far from impractical. Analyzing the Tweets history of any user including our competitors can help us to dissect the strategies implemented in the past or current and measure the effectiveness of their strategy.
To search Tweets of any specific user, just go for a third-party tool. As I have been using Trackmyhashtag for 1 year and I found this tool really useful.
You just need to visit the official website and click on "historical data''. Scroll down, fill the request form with your required details and click 'submit'. After a while, you receive sample data of tweets associated with other details. Coordinate with the mail for further support.
I hope I helped!
Check your settings. You might only have it set to text when a certain user tweets.
Type @username into the search function to view all tweets sent to that user.
You can block them by clicking on the "block [username]" link found on users profile pages. Twitter well then show you 2 buttons asking you to confirm that you really mean to block this person from following you.
You can't retweet them because the user wants to keep their tweets private.
You can only look through your tweets by going to the bottom of your profile and clicking "more"
The hashtag is generally used with trending topics. This is so people can search for a specific term using the hashtag. For example, using #wikianswers in tweets would allow people to more easily find tweets that mention WikiAnswers.
When you are logged in, use the search box which is located below your "@replies", "Direct Messages", "Retweets" etc. You can either search for phrases or for specific words. You might want to use inverted commas when searching to ensure you receive tweets with the specific thing you're looking for.
It means that the user has made their tweets private and they have to approve you before you can follow them
If your profile is private then they won't appear in the search. Otherwise, they should.
If your account isn't protected then anyone can go to your profile and see your tweets. Similarly, your tweets can appear in search results. For example, if someone searches "dog" and you mention "dog" in one of your tweets then it will appear in the results.
Yes. However many, possibly all, of your tweets are stored on other sites that track tweets, topics, and trends. So, while you may delete them from being viewed on Twitter, it's not too hard to search for your old user name, etc., and find plenty of links that go to old tweets of yours.
You can do a search for tweets sent to someone by typing @username (replaced with their actual username) into the search field.
