New technological advances has significantly changed the lifestyles of today's generations as compared to past generations. The cell phone, for example, did not exist a generation ago. Therefore, there were no texting or anything else that involves the usage of a cell phone. Television has also changed. With few channels, the people of a generation ago did not depend on TV for entertainment. Today, one has hundreds of channels to choose from.
The values and beliefs are different between the two generations. The traditional values and thoughts are not held in high regard by the present generation.
