Homeschooling is governed by state law, and the laws vary a great deal from state to state. In some states your local school may be the best source of information about the appropriate procedures, but in some states public school people have little or nothing to do with homeschooling and may know very little about it. The best place to start is with a state homeschooling support group. You should be able to find one online, and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
If you hate home school ask your parents if you can go back to your normal school and be the new kid :) tell them your emotions they might let you go to public school
If you mean in the subject of school, I would recommend homeschooling your preschooler (for now at least). Then, maybe by the time they are old enough to go to an elementary school, You can decide either to keep home schooling them or to send them to a public or private school. Also, if you have doubts about homeschooling your child, you should know that it does not make a college less likely to accept a home schooled student than a public or private schooled student. If you feel that your child could get a better education at home, then you should home school them.
No, because even if home schooled the child has to pass a test each year or else they make you put them in public school if they are not progressing as they should.
no i do not think so. if they are having trouble with kids in the school, you may want to consider homeschooling.
I would talk with other people who are homeschooling their kids. They should help you find a good resource. I would also speak with your local public school because they will have resources.
By online homeschooling or via regular way, it should not effect children's future really at all. Children will also get a high school diploma and can get scholarships to go to college.
If you are going to private school, you can certainly try the cost angle as homeschooling is much cheaper than any private school. If you are in public school, you can give many truthful reasons on your part why you feel homeschooling would suit you better. Whether that is bullying, not enough attention being paid to your strengths or weaknesses, too much drama distracting you, not well enough teaching, and so on, you should be honest about it.
Im homeshooled and its the worst thing that's ever and happend and is going to happen to me. The only good thing about homeschooling is that each kid gets 1 on 1 attention during school and usually will have a slightly higher IQ. The bad things about homeschooling is you don't meet any kids your age and end up socialy akward. Also homeschooling dosent offer extra activities that could be useful in the future like Photography, Art, Gym, Music, and other classes. I think it should be illegal but its not up to me.
I'm home schooled, and when my parents decided to home school me, I wasn't very happy with their decision. However, as I've grown and witnessed/heard some of the terrible things in public school, I'm so very grateful to my parents for homeschooling me. Homeschooling doesn't take away any benefits from your child. If you're wondering if home schoolers have friends, yes, we do. Actually - we have plenty of friends, home schooled and public schooled. Home schooling allows you to teach what you think your child should be taught, to monitor who your child hangs out with what your child watches etc., and to have a closer bond with your child. I could go on for days, but let me know if you'd like to discuss this anymore.
If you were to ask my 4 children, they would respond that they would not have it any other way! At the beginning of every school year, I always asked if they wanted to continue homeschooling or be public schooled. They always wanted to continue homeschooling. We have been at it for over 20 years, if you count their toddler years...and you should! Feel free to ask them yourself on the website: http://www.homeschool-rewards.com And know that they will get back to you! Blessings
If your in a public school you should ask your counselor or principal, they should have your answer.
