In my opinion, i think she made a difference in the world by being one of the first African American to open a place where children can go to for being taken care of if they are orphans ,or are born with HIV or other disease

In 1969, she moved to Harlem where she established the Hale House Center (1975) as a foster home for infants and children who were addicted to drugs, because their mothers had used drugs during pregnancy.
