I had surgery because I tore my acl, mcl, and my meniscus. It has been about two months now and I am hoping to play golf soon. I have been told you can play golf after two months. Running begins at 4 months post-op. If rehab goals are met, sports are allowed 6 months after surgery, however you will need clearance from your doctor prior to resuming sports.

I play soccer and after my surgery I was back to full playing after 6 months. I play many sports and after my surgery, i started to play about 8 months after. The longer you wait and the longer you do physical therapy, the better chance you will not reinjure it. I have know 3 people who have had to have 4 surgeries because they came back too early.
