Allah has sent 125 000 (if there is a mistake, then please correct me, since I don't exactly remember it was 124 or 125 thousand in the hadith) prophets to mankind. The first prophet on the Earth was prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and the last prophet was prophet Muhammad PBUH. And 313 of them were rasools (prophets to whome came a new book and a new Shari'ah). E.g., prophets Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad (Peace be upon them all). Who created islamism?
ALLAH is the creator of Islam. Actually many people are confused about the religion Islam. Even if Muslim themselves don't know actual knowledge about ALLAH and His Prophets. Muslim don't have ego about caste and colour but have much ego of high & low class status. Actual Islamic scholars lead their life as an ordinary person and are not opened to press. Many rich Muslims even don't care them due to their low and ordinary class. That why the confusion occurs? But Islam doesn't teach about classes or status egoism. Islam is the most oldest as well as the youngest religion on earth, because ALLAH sent HIS messengers /prophets in phases. According to Islamic scholars in Mecca & Medina there are around 125000 messenger/ prophets in Islam send by ALLAH. All prophets are male and are Muslim. All have same objective of preaching is Laailahaillallah which means (There is no God except ALLAH) and he himself is the prophet. Each prophet has their own followers, civilization, tradition & culture blesses by ALLAH in the form of Holy Books or writings or the commands to which the followers accept and do. But every Holy Books or writings or commands (except Quran) was either changed or extinguished by the people. The first prophet in Islam send by ALLAH was prophet Adam (A.S). After him, his (A.S.) followers practiced Islam as he told but after some years Islam began to extinguish; then ALLAH send the second prophet in Islam to continue his laws on earth. After the second prophet (A.S.) his (A.S.) followers practiced Islam as he told but after some years Islam again began to extinguish; then ALLAH send the third prophet, like this way the prophet line continued up to the last Prophet Muhammad (Swalallahualiehuwasalam). According to Islamic scholar's Prophet Muhammad (Swalallahualiehuwasalam) is the leader of all Prophets & present world is known as Muhammadan age. And the Muhammadan Islam is some 1400 yrs old. But if, we calculate the every age of Islam then it will be more than 100000 (one lakhs) yrs old. Every prophet who came to earth told their followers about the Last Prophet of Allah (The Prophet Muhammad Swalallahualiehuwasalam). Even if in Veda, Bible and other religious books u will find the name of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad (Swalallahualiehuwasalam) was in fear about the extinguishment or changes of originality of Holy book Quran after him because there is no prophet coming to earth after him. But ALLAH consoled him that HE HIMSELF has taken the responsibility of Quran up to the end of the universe. After Prophet Muhammad (Swalallahualiehuwasalam) the prophet's lines ends & the khilafat line started who till now preach Islam & it will continue up to the end of universe.
Why was Muhammad so special?
Because Prophet Muhammad is the one who preached to the whole world about Islam in spite of many major hardships in the beginning of the Islam era, he wanted to spread the world of Allah and taught the world about what Allah want us to do as his worshippers. Prophet Muhammad always wanted to help in every way possible and guide them to the right path. Prophet Muhammad showed the Muslims how to do every thing till the day of judgment. Prophet Muhammad guided how to win the tough fights / wars. The Muslims most of the time won with Allah's help and mercy. He taught people to read and write Qu'ran, he taught people to do salat, pay zakat, how to fast, and how to do hajj. He showed Allah miracles happen. He helped everyone, and he was honest. Everyone trusted him. He was prepared for any thing every time. He was a very pure and clean person. Allah wishes for everyone to be like him and to follow the straight path. If everyone were like prophet Muhammad then the world would be a better place to stay. Because he taught Muslims to live life properly, and told us about shaitan and not to follow him. Whoever follows shaytan will go to Jahanam (Hell) or who ever follows prophet Muhammad will go to Janah (Paradise). Prophet Muhammad has made most Muslims successful and pure by teaching them about Islam. If he hadn't taught Muslims then, we wouldn't be aware of Islam and Islam would not have spread and no one would have followed Islam. So we should be grateful to prophet Muhammad for showing us how to live in this world and what to expect here after and what to do in this world to go to Jannah. He is role model for the whole humanity and if we follow him we will be definitely on the right path and with Allah's mercy we can go to Jannah. Prophet Muhammad always prayed for the best for his followers in this world and also in the hereafter. Prophet Muhammad never wanted any thing for himself. He loves his followers so much and he will ask Allah go forget the sins of all the Muslims and also Allah to give Jannah to all the Muslims. If Prophet Muhammad wanted lots of money, or any thing he could have got it but he just wanted to spread the word of Allah and Islam and nothing for himself. Even Jannah he wants for all Muslims.

Why do you call holy prophet as the best example?
Because God made him perfect :P Allah Ta'ala created from light our beloved Prophet, before any other thing. Prophets, Angels, Earth, Skies, Heavens etc. have all been created from the ray of the Holy Prophet's light (Noor). Except for Allah or being equal to Allah, our beloved Prophet has been given whatever qualities there are, and whatever excellence exists, by Allah Ta'ala. In the whole universe there cannot be anything or anyone with the same or greater quality than our beloved Prophet. Huzoor is the most virtuous creation and a delegate of Allah Ta'ala. Huzoor is the Prophet of all the other Prophets and it is a necessity for everyone to follow the Prophet. Allah Ta'ala has gifted Huzoor with the keys of all Allah's treasures, All the world and religious gifts are provided and created by Allah and shared and given out by our beloved Prophet. Allah Ta'ala gave our Prophet the unique gift of Me'raj, meaning called him above the skies (Ursh) and showed him his vision with the Prophet's own eyes. The Prophet listened to Allah's voice and was given a tour of Jannat (paradise), Dozakh (hell), Ursh (above the skies) and Kursi (throne). All this happened in a short period at night. On the day of judgement our Prophet will be the first to perform intercession, meaning he will intercede for people in the court of Allah. He will raise the grades. God in flesh (Spirit in flesh) is Jesus, for the purpose to transforms human flesh to spirit by germinating it in the human flesh and elevating to the real Spirit. That is JESUS I know. He was in flesh for the purpose of Salvation from Bondage all mankind ( all man kind) not for any particular kind. What is Bondage and Salvation ? or Freedom and Slavery ? When devil made the first human under his captivity (bondage) by trick, Jesus came to break this by offering himself and delivered (freed) us. Our fate has been determined by Almighty Allah much before our birth. Better have firm faith in Almighty Allah, do your best to lead your life according to the teachings of Islam, follow the holy Prophet (SAW) sincerely, earn your livelihood by halal means, and leave rest of the matters in the Mighty Hands of Allah karim. The life of the Holy Prophet (SAW) is the Best Example. He didn't solve worldly matters by Wazaif. He went to the Field of Badr with his un-armed followers to fight against the Makkan force. He didn't do any Wazifa in the Field of Uhad or Hunain.
