Zapdos is found in the power plant. Before going there, buy about 20 ultra balls and then head over to the power plant. you get to the power plant by going to the northeast corner of route 9. then go to the river in the corner and use surf. head down the river until you reach land. before going into the power plant you will need to battle someone. when you find zapdos in the power plant, save the game so that if you fail to catch it, you can simply turn off and on again to give it another go. get its health right down and use your ultra balls to try and catch it.
