erosion
well this is my personal theory
mountainous places where polar ice caps are, are very high?
so when it melts the water will sort of erm slide down and like earthquake the water and therefore create an awsomely big tsnunami
thats my theory but im not old enough to be able to think about environmental issues so yh
I dont know if you want to know them, then reaserch
erosion
this means that the polar bears habitat is melting because of global warming and climate change. other ways: the ice is melting because of climate change and global warming this means that polar bears are being extinct.
continental polar and maritime tropical
Continental polar and maritime tropical.
i am melting can you see me ?
they are found on mountain valleys and polar regions
Melting glaciers can be a danger to society. The melting of glaciers means that the sea level would rise. This could put some current sea-level cities underwater, causing damages and forcing people to find higher ground.
Polar glaciers are glaciers that are frozen to the bedrock. The surface snow-pack of a polar glacier may experience melting, but the ice from the surface to the base is always below freezing.
Ice worms, bacteria, and algae. Glaciers don't offer much in the way of food for larger animals.
Global warming is a main culprit of the decreaseing numbers of Polar bears, warmer temperatures mean loss of habitat due to melting ice and glaciers.
I believe it is Polar Bears, and penguins. :(, It's gonna be a shame when this planet becomes waterworld.
It is melting the icecaps (which can be proven by looking at the polar ice caps) which effects the weather. Yes greenhouse, global climate change is taking place and is harming the human race.
No, glaciers can develop below the snow line. While the snow line is the altitude at which snow accumulates and exceeds melting, glaciers can form and persist in areas where snow falls and compacts into ice faster than it melts. Glaciers can exist in both high-altitude and polar regions.
Not a glacier, but an iceberg, which was drifting South from the Arctic regions after breaking off from the Polar ice-cap in the warmer Spring weather.
Basically reduce the green house effect which is melting polar ice.
Polluted air will have the greatest effect, trapping heat from the sun and melting the ice caps.

Ice glaciers, what else?
