Eat healthier foods and exercise. A 10-year-old is a child, so they should be out playing anyway or engaging in sports. Usually, if they are playing something other than a video game or computer, they are getting some type of physical exercise.

There are three suggestions I have for you: 1. Try to say no to eating things like chips, crisps, candy and soft drinks. I know it is hard, but if you have a juice instead of a coke it is much better for you. 2. When you have dinner at night, you don't need to eat EVERYTHING on your plate. You don't have to eat until you feel like you are going to bust! 3. Do you play a sport? Ask your mum to join you up for a sport and get some exercise. It can be anything - karate, dancing, tee-ball, soccer. Just as long as you get to run around some! Good luck! You don't try and LOSE weight, you let your height catch up with your weight. INCREASE your activity. Play outside, ride a bike, walk instead of getting a ride; anything you can do to burn calories. The basic idea is you have to BURN more calories than you EAT. When you hit puberty (periods for girl and a boy becoming a little more muscular and concentrating on sex more) as a female your body will naturally start to be curvier, you'll start to see hips and your breasts will grow. It's still got to stay away from the junk foods as suggested above and it's important to exercise. Girls can get into hot dancing classes (just like the ones you see on TV), swim, bike and the boys have an array of sports they can be active in or bike ride, swim or run.
hi i am eleven too and i was searching online for information on how to safely lose weight. Turns out all the answers are crap and i was highly disappointed. i talked to my dad about it and he told me that i am thin already (yeah right!). anyway he also told me that i could eat healthier and exercise more but i didn't have too. so talk to someone about it. if you are 5 feet like i am it is perfectly normal to weigh from 85-120 pounds. hope this helped you!
Not very good to lose weight too fast. To start - no coffee, no soda pop, no liquor beer or wine, no deserts, no fast food, no bread, no butter, no jam/jelly and don't add salt to your meal. Coffee slows weight loss. Fast food is loaded with salt which makes you retain water and slows weight loss. All of the other items are high calorie and you won't lose weight very fast if you eat or drink them. If you can cut out all of the above, you'll lose a lot of water weight fast. Then, you'll lose fat and you'll weigh a lot less.

Well you can but that unhealthy. Your still growing and any drastic changes in workout and diet can take a toll on your grow and development. Talk your parents and tell them you want to loose weight. Maybe they could get you a dietitian? Or maybe talk to your gym teacher. Don't diet without your parents knowing. You need to eat first of all but it depends WHAT you eat. So maybe talk to your parents about stop buying chips, soda, cookies and other junk food. The best exercise to loose weight is jump roping. Cut down on junk foods (not too much) and jump rope for 10-30 minutes a day. You can do it while watching T.V. I hope this helps!
