Airplanes over the past 90 or so years have changed a lot. We have gone from small, propeler driven, fragile, all fabric and wood, 100mph top speed aircraft only able to reach 200 feet in the air at most, to all metal jet aircraft that can double the speed of sound at up to 60,000 feet up.
Airplanes have changed faster, bigger and technologically advanced. The fastest aircraft travels with a speed of Mach10. The biggest aircraft is A380. There are even radar airplanes that monitor the skies for activity.
Airplanes have changed by going faster, larger and usable. Airplanes can be used for a load of stuff, other then flying one (1) person around

They changed their engines . They became more powerful, maneuverable, aerodynamic, fast etc......
Airplanes have changed by becoming faster, larger, and more usable. Airplanes can be used for alot of things now other than just flying one person around. They can be used for war, transportation, and many other things. The engines have become more powerful, they have acquired more seats, and have been built to have a variety of uses in one single aircraft.
