Take it to a garage i tried to do it my self (achoo) its not as easy as youd think and its fiddley wiring i gave up when a estimate of a garage was sky high and in the hundreds ( buy a new car )

Start the engine and then push the brake pedal down. If it is soft and easy to push then the booster is okay. If booster is BAD the brake pedal would be hard to push.
You simply unscrew the antenna rod and replace it. Very easy.
Replace the valve seal and check the valve guide for wear.

Yes, replacing the booster is fairly easy. Just remember to bleed the brakes if you have to remove a brake hydraulic line. Bleed in this sequence. RR-LR-RF-LF
