There are a few....Theres the Saint Nicholas church hall in Aberfedly Street Poplar where Steve Harris first appeared on stage...This was the time that the now legendary incident took place where Steve was supposed to start the song with a Bass intro but was so nervous that the rest of the band thought he was tunning up Then theres the Ruskin Arms pub where Iron Maiden played most weekends during the late 70s...you can find it at High Street North East Ham E6. Theres the Bridge House(not to be confused with the Bridge House pub in Canning Town which is no longer there...However im told there is a new rock venue near to the original site)in Ida Street Poplar which was a convent..this is where Iron Maiden was really formed in 1976. You can also see Maiden FC play football/Soccer at vairous locations on Wantead Flats during the season...Maiden FC is a team of kids of various ages and the team is supported by Iron Maiden
