And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever." God’s Kingdom, not any human government, will satisfy our desire for permanent world peace. Psalm 145:16, "You open your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing." Psalm 46:9 also mentions, "He is bringing an end to wars throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the military wagons with fire."
