They didnt Rick came up with his own ideas and sold the books because of that not because they where such a rip off a harry potter they are hardly alike.
Draco Malfoy is niether mean nor nice. He is petty and spoilt and teases and bullys Harry, Ron and Hermione and other griffindors during there time at school. He and Harry established a hatred in the first book Harry Potter and the Philosiphers Stone when he stole Neville Longbottoms rememberball and chanlenged Harry to get it back. There Hatred blossomed in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th books (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Sectrets, Harry Potter and the Prisiner of Askaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) Lucius Malfoy (Dracos dad) is introduced in the 2nd one and Harry hates him as well. In the 5th book Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix Harryaccuses Lucius of being a death eater and his suspicions are proved corect when he (lucius) and 11 other death eaters raided the ministry of magic and got arrested. In the 6th Harry Potter, harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry accuses Draco Malfoy of being a deatheater and his suspicions are proved to be correct. During his service to Voldemort Malfoy is forced to torture people. Harry is sickened when he finds out this. Malfoy is just a petty selfish boy who is trying to do what he thinks is right and what he thinks is right is wizards ruling over muggfles and Voldemort in charge. He and his mother and father give up on Voldemort at the end of the 7th book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, when his parents run through the crown of deatheaters, ordermembers and hogwartians alike sceaming for there son. Malfoy is niether nice nor nasty. He's just confused and scared and........he wants what he wants. MonkeyLover-Dinda
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is children's fiction. The target age group is around 9-11, however the series is loved by children and adults alike. The British publisher even released adult editions of the books with the only difference being the covers. This allowed adults to read the books in public without being seen reading a children's cover.
Harry Potter is perhaps one of the biggest names in literature because it has captured the hearts of children and adults alike. The movies have been just as successful as the books, so it's no surprise that Harry Potter costumes are just as popular. When you are looking for your costumes, you should decide first which character you want to be. While it's tempting to be Harry Potter since he's the star, you may opt to be someone different even one of the villains. If there are a bunch of you that plan on attending a party or going trick or treating together, you may even want to consider Harry Potter as a theme and each of you choose a different character to go as. If you decide to go as Harry Potter, there are a few things that are an absolute must. You must have the haircut and you must have the glasses. Don't worry about visiting a barber before Halloween just to get your hair cut just like Harry. Instead, many costume stores have a wig that you will be able to fit on top of your head so that you look as authentic as possible. While you're shopping for the wig, don't forget the glasses, too. Props are a big deal with Harry Potter after all he is a wizard. You can find numerous different props, even if you aren't dressing up in Harry Potter costumes. You can find a goblet to drink your Butter Beer in or you can carry some supplies for a quick game of Quidditch. All of these supplies are available in Halloween stores. As you go door to door for candy or parading around the Halloween party in your various costumes, make sure you know a little Harry Potter trivia. There are a lot of people out there that know the facts and you want to make sure that you are able to answer any questions and be as authentic as can be. Otherwise, you won't be the best Harry at the party and that wouldn't be a good thing. When in doubt grab one of the books and start reading once you get your costume.
