Honeybees are cavity-nesting bees so you won't see their hive in the wild unless their tree has fallen down or their home has been opened some other way. If you do get to peek inside of it you will see parallel rows of wax comb covered with honeybees.

Domestic honeybees live inside of a stack of square boxes, about 18 inches on a side and between 2 and 6 feet tall, depending on how many boxes are stacked. If you could look inside these boxes you would see frames of wax comb that the bees live on, usually 10 frames per box.

The bees live in the lower boxes and store their honey in the upper boxes. bees live in neists

In the wild, bees make their hives inside hollow trees or caves. Domestic bees live in hives made by humans, usually of wood or straw. I believe you are asking how the honeycomb is made, and that is something the bees make themselves. Young worker bees make the wax in special glands on the bottom side of their abdomens. It forms thin scales on the abdomen, and the bees chew that until it is pliable and use it to form honeycomb.

Wasps and bees are separate species.

In the wild, honey bees would live in a suitable cavity, such as a hollow tree. Wasps make nests out of chewed up wood fibres which form a papery substance.

Wax honeycomb is what bee-made hives are made of.

Specifically, the wax is stored in the stomachs of scout and worker bees. Bees secrete the wax once a location is found for keeping warm, laying eggs, and storing honey and wax. They will chew on the wax until it is soft enough to build into honeycomb.

It is usually made of wood. Western Red Cedar is popular because it lasts for a long time. Hives made of plastic are now on the market but are only catching on very slowly.
