A Buddha is not chosen, when a person becomes enlightened he becomes a Buddha or Bodhisattva, or if he enounces Nirvana to return to enlighten others. If they were "chosen" it would imply a chooser, a set of rules, and an authority. None of these exist.

There is no such thing as a Buddhist priest, as in the sense of Christianity. There are Monks, who have dedicated their lives to the Dharma to become enlightened. What is a buddist marriage cermony like?

There is no Buddhist marriage ceremony. Buddhist monks often are asked to attend weddings and add blessings but the ceremonies belong to the culture of the people being married. Buddhism's origins lie in a community of monks and nuns who gave up family life and lived apart from society, so weddings are not native to Buddhism.
