Cell phones should be used during school because what if a student is getting bullied or is in deep trouble they could use their cell phones to call for help.
yes only in an emergency
No, texting is too much a distraction. The purpose for being is school is related to school, learning. Texting and electronic devices that do not support learning have no place in the classroom. Some states even prohibit the possession of electronic devices such as cell phones on school property during regular school hours.
Yes. Teachers use their phones even during school hours. I don't know about your school, but at mine, you can use your phone before school, after school, or during lunch.
NO!
no.
You can have it but you cannot used it during school hours.
When the law was passed to allow phones it stated that students could have phones with them, but not use them. Passing is only 5 minutes and if everyone was texting or talking on the phone no one would get to class ( people are tardy everyday as it is). Phones are a distraction at school and you are in school to learn.
Because it is a distraction.
Because students are not allowed to use cell phones at school. One reason is because who knows if they are text messaging during school session and they get a F on their test. They also might be calling during break when they are not supposed to.
no it should not be allowed in schools
