Not all microscopic lenses are corrected for chromatic aberrations. Many times they will be for use in some places like laboratories and similar.
There is just ONE chromatic scale. It's just the full length of the keyboard- up and back down.
The "tonic" or "dominant" (terms perhaps not applicable to chromatic scales, but used for ease of reference) letter names of the scale are written once each, and all other letter names are written twice. For example, C harmonic chromatic is: C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, Ab, A, Bb, B, C D harmonic chromatic is: D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, Bb, B, C, C#, D (Of course, strictly speaking the tonic is actually written twice: once at the bottom and once at the top.) I believe the rationale behind the harmonic chromatic scale is to create a "key-related" chromatic by "layering" the major and minor scales together, then adding the b2 and #4 to complete the set (so to speak). That is why it is important that the tonic and dominant are not repeated.

When you sing scales, you start on a note and if the key is major, you sing Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do. That's the first thing you learn. Then you switch to minor, and chromatic. It can get complicated. You should master singing major first.
Well, not really. I play the clarinet and i just try and do my best with it. For my school I am required to memorize my scales. There is something to remember when you are learning the chromatic scale.Remember that is just all the notes on your instrument. Like on a piano it is all the keys going up and down. I hope you do your best in learning your scales! Good luck!
Notes that are altered from the traditional scale are called altered chords. These chords are defined on different scales, such as the chromatic scale, as being a diatonic note.
"Chromatic" is an adjective and is not located anywhere.
