i know if you have the 5.4L V8 you will have coil packs. not spark plugs
passenger side of engine , front cylinder The engine cylinders are numbered : passenger side , front to rear , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and drivers side , front to rear , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8
The plugs and coil packs are located on top of the engine. If you look at the fuel rails ( they are silver in color ) which will be on both sides of the throttle body the small coil packs are located under them. Use caution when R&R the plugs and packs not to break the clips holding them and damage the fuel rails.
