Competition among the animals IS for survival
boo
the short supply in the environment
Ecology- when a species is in competition and not succeeding. It may die out.
Competition: when two or more organisms need the same resource (food, water, space, territory, mates) for survival
yes
Competition. The struggle of the fittest. The survival of the fittest.
Competition between species is called interspecific competition. It occurs when different species compete for the same resources, such as food, water, or shelter, leading to interactions that can affect the survival and abundance of the species involved.
Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide - 2004 Fundraising and Competition 3-15 was released on: USA: 10 March 2007 Germany: 29 February 2008
competition for resources, allowing it to have a better chance of survival and establishment in a new environment.
Limited resources, competition among individuals allows the most fit to succeed resulting in a stronger species
= "Can specializing reduce animal competition for survival?" = No, because organisms depend on each other for survival. An example is separating a lion and a zebra it is obvious that in the symbiotic relationship between them the lion benefits because it depends on the zebra as it`s food source, so living in the wild with only lions or of its own species it would not work out because they would be low on food.
