I am assuming you are getting this from the Poem "Dreams", by Langston Hughes.
DREAMS
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
This line is a metaphor, explaining that if you give up on your dreams, you have very little to live for to look forward to, and life is meaningless. It of course does this by comparing this life to "A barren field/Frozen with snow"
i believe that was Langston Hughes
Wasteland: 1. A land that is desolate, barren, or ravaged. 2. A place, era, or aspect of life considered as lacking in spiritual, aesthetic, or other humanizing qualities; a vacuum.
the theme is not everything in life is as beautifull and simple as it is in dreams.....hope this helps;)
...LIfe is sO exciting.because of our many happy memories in our related past...
A xenobiologist is a biologist who works in the speculative field of extraterrestrial life forms.
I don’t understand the question
It is a field with no crops that is empty of all life.
It is a field with no crops that is empty of all life.

In the poem Dreams by Langston Hughes, the narrator is advising the reader to never stop dreaming and to never give up on a dream. The reason for this is because he/she feels that the world is a very depressing place, but dreams can make it wondrous and exciting ("Life is a broken-winged bird/ That cannot fly").

The character played by Burt Lancaster and Frank Whaley in "Field of Dreams" (1989) was Archibald "Moonlight" Graham, based on the real-life New York Giants ballplayer whose only major-league appearance was on June 29, 1905.
The word "barren" is the giveaway. The sceptre is a symbol of kingship. It is barren because Macbeth has no heir to pass the throne to (not in the play, anyway. In real life he had a stepson who did succeed him.)
