Index fossils (also known as guide fossils, indicator fossils or zone fossils).
Mosasaur fossils are fossils of the prehistoric sea monster called Mosasaurus.
Fossils can be any Kingdom. We have found fossils of plants, worms, animals plus many others.
Fossils are very less and should be protected , it teaks millions of years for the formation of fossils , if all the available fossils are finished, then we will not able to enjoy the benefits of them and also to make our future generation to enjoy the benefits of fossils we should protect them . It would be better if we use a possible alternative in place of Fossils

Imprint fossils, Mineralized fossils, frozen fossils, fossils in amber, and cast fossils.
The terms are fossils.
Dinosaur fossils have been preserved because they don't decompose quickly. Then, they were buried quickly by natural causes (IE, flash floods, etc), which protected them from the elements and further slowed the process of decomposition. Then, rain leaked through the soil, leaching out some of the minerals in the bone and replacing them with others. Eventually, the new minerals completely replaced the old ones, and pressure from the increasing amount of soil and rocks above compressed and hardened the fossils. The formed fossils were now protected because they were surrounded by the soil they had been buried in, which had now turned into stone, too.
