Religions tend to support married couples teaching their children the faith in which they are a part of and view it as a hardship if say a Jewish woman is teaching her children that the faith is still waiting for the Messiah while the Catholic father is teaching the children that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. It causes a conflict in the faith for the children and so religions encourage inter-faith marriages believing that the parents while do everything they can to teach their children the same faith as themselves.
It's complicated. Israel's marriages are arranged by the various religious groups in Israel, the Jewish Rabbinate, the Sunni Imams, the Druze Elders, the Orthodox Patriarchate, etc. In order for intermarriage to be legal in Israel, two of these groups would have to agree to officiate an intermarriage together. For the time being, none of these religious leaders have allowed this, so there is no intermarriage performed within Israel. However, Israel also recognizes any marriages formed abroad. So, many Israeli couples of mixed faith will take a trip to Cyprus to get married. Upon return to Israel, the marriage is recognized as a civil marriage with all of the benefits of any religious marriages performed domestically within Israel.
Interfaith conflict is a conflict or tension that arises between people or groups of different religious beliefs or backgrounds. It can be fueled by differences in beliefs, practices, or values, leading to misunderstanding, intolerance, and sometimes violence. Resolving interfaith conflict often involves promoting dialogue, understanding, and respect for diverse beliefs.
It might be a strange answer but some religious groups! They may have extended this to the Girl Scouts when it was in its early days.
The Crusades led to increased tensions and conflicts between Christians and other groups, particularly Muslims and Jews, due to the violence and religious fervor associated with the campaigns. The Crusades also shaped perceptions and stereotypes that have had lasting impacts on interfaith relations. Additionally, the Crusades fueled religious intolerance and reinforced divisions between different religious communities.
