i dont know realy just fail it im telling you the truth even though you dont want to know the truth sorry if its like 1 question you dont get out of 20 then whatever no porb sorry ily jk i dont know u lmao :)
Somebody else wrote that, and WHOEVER it was, obviously shouldn't have ANSWERED it.
Just a tip: If you see a question, and you DON'T know the answer, wait for someone else to answer it so you don't look like an idiot on the internet.
Now, on to the question at hand.
Mechanical waves always require a medium, which are the actual material (or matter) that the wave travels through. Mechanical waves are made when particles of matter vibrate back and forth. Examples of Mechanical waves are ocean waves, sound waves, or even when you're in a stadium and and everyone moves their arms to make a theoretical "wave." Waves themselves are actually just a disturbance that transmits energy from place. There are two types of waves, Mechanical, and Electromagnetic. (FYI electromagnetic waves do NOT require a medium)
I also know a whole lot about the anatomy of a wave, but I'll just wait for someone else to ask that question...
a mechanical wave.
Mechanical
Mechanical waves were not discovered by a single individual, but have been studied and understood by scientists over many centuries. The ancient Greeks, such as Pythagoras and Aristotle, made observations and theories about waves, while later scientists like Isaac Newton and Thomas Young made significant contributions to our understanding of mechanical waves.
Mechanical waves require a medium while Electromagnetic waves does not.
Mechanical waves, shock waves, etc.
Seismic waves are mechanical waves.
Non mechanical waves are Eletro magnetic waves. We can devide 2 waves. 1 is mechanical waves & 2 is electromagnetic waves. For example Sound is a mechanical wave & Light is an electromagnetic wave.
mechanical waves need a medium to travel through, electromagnetic waves do not. Electromagnetic waves can travel through space, mechanical waves can not.:PElectromagnetic waves do not require a medium, but mechanical waves do.
sound waves are a example of mechanical waves
No. The 2 types of mechanical waves are transverse waves & longitudinal waves
There are two types of waves, mechanical and non-mechanical waves. A mechanical wave needs some sort of medium, like an earthquake to move the water.
Mechanical waves require media through which they can travel.
