City networks are commonly known as WAN's, or Wide Area Network's.
PAN stands for Personal Area Network in computer networks(area wise classified networks)
A sport is classified as intramural contest when it is set up to take place between a set of teams that are located within a specific geographical area.
The classification of computer networks is done mostly through range and function. Some of the common classes include local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and metropolitan area network (MAN) among others.
Computer Network is a collection of computers or switches or servers that are interconnected through any communication medium. Based on geographical area coverage, the computer network can be classified as * Local Area Network (LAN) - Ethernet, Token Ring, Wireless * Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) * Wide Area Network (WAN) * Internet (World Wide Web) By Ponns
Geographic scope is the coverage that computers have within a certain geographic area. It is also how far the computer along with its network can reach geographically. Local networks use dedicated data channels and consist of private branch exchanges and local area networks. Wide-area networks use telecommunication channels and also include value added networks
A wide-area network (WAN) consists of connections that cover a large geographical area and tie together two or more networks. WANs typically connect multiple local area networks (LANs) and are commonly used by organizations to connect branches or offices in different locations.
Networks can also be clasiffied by geographical scope in LAN and WANs.Local area network (LAN) connects connects computer and other devices, located within a limit area by using dedicated data channels specifically installed for transimitting data.Wide area network (WANs) uses a large geographical area and uses telecommunications for transimitting dataand it is alsoComputer geographic scope is the coverage that computers have within a certain geographic area.It is also how far the computer along with its network can reach geographically. There are two types of networks, the Local Area Network (LAN), consists of several PCs or workstations connected to a special computer called a server, often within the same building or office complex. And the other one is the Wide Area Networks (WANs), networks than span large geographical areas. Computers can connect to these networks to use facilities in another city or country.
Wide area networks can consist of many local area networks, but it is possible for a wide area network to be a single network.
Natural Region is created on the basis of physical feature and climate whereas Administrative Region is created on population and area.
It all depends on this geographical area. You could use two wireless routers. Given the distance isn't too far. 2 linksys routers with ddwrt firmware, put one both networks and that will be a good job. If it is far, you could be looking at running a wire from one network to the next. If neither of these are feasible you could look into VPN's. Have you got servers...??
