How are resources inter dependent?

If you break down the words interrelated and interdependent you find that they are: inter-related: related to each other inter-dependent: dependent on each other This is only true within the system/organization where the subsystems are located. So basically you are saying that subsystems are related and depend on one another in order to function most efficiently.
Australia has many natural resources. These resources include mineral resources, such as copper, gold and diamonds, energy resources, such as coal, oil, and uranium, and land resources that are used for farming and logging. These resources are economically important to Australia. Many people believe that Australia's economy is resource dependent, which means that if these resources were to be depleted, Australia's economy would suffer.
As human civilization has progressed, man's dependence on natural resources has grown tremendously. Earlier, man used these resources to support his life, but today he utilizes them to meet all his comforts. Today, we are completely dependent on these resources for various social and developmental activities...............
