Deforestation and livestock grazing threaten the wilderness where most ocelots live. Maintaining the wild ecosystem has reduced the threat to ocelots and the other animals in their habitats.

When it's close enough, right click ocelot with raw fish until the ocelot becomes a Siamese, tuxedo, or orange cat. Pets can no longer be tamed if it has gone hostile, even if you leave it alone. An ocelot can only be tamed if it comes to you by itself.
