Is the question asking why they changed the commandments? If it is, Napoleon and Squealer changed them for only their own benefit. They twisted the commandments so they would not be blamed for breaking them by the other animals.
The animals felt they needed the seven commandments so order would be brought to the farm. The commandments would tell them what was and wasn't allowed.
Squealer was the one who was tasked to rewrite them in order to make them more accommodating to the indulgences which the animals had become prone to.
3 I thought it was chapter 2... Please go look again... And what happens in Chapter 7 of animal farm? The 7 commandments were made in chapter 2 by snowball, but said by Old major
There are seven commandments in the beginning of Animal Farm. At the end there is only one commandment and that is, "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
OpinionNot everyone needs all ten commandments. While the commandments dealing with ethical and moral behaviour are of universal importance and should be accepted by all people, the commandment to believe in the God of Judaism (and Christianity) does not apply to Hindus, for example, or to atheists. there is still a need for the other commandments.
There Is Over 2 Million Sea Animals.
Napoleon
The Seven Commandments were originally established by Old Major (Karl Marx) in his speech on Animalism (communism) at the beginning of the story to the other animals. The animals commit these Commandments to memory and live their lives by them. It is not until later on, that Napoleon (Stalin) comes into power and slowly abolishes these commandments.
The 7 commandments are a symbol of communism in Russian revolution.
Yes, they do.
Many animals on the farm could not remember all seven commandments so they shortened them to "Four legs good, two legs bad"
