We found a baby sparrow that had fallen out of the nest. It must have only been a week old, if that. Its eyes were still not open. I crunched up some dog buscuit in a mortar and pestle, added a little hot water and a tiny bit of peanut butter. We use a tooth pick to get some of the mixture on the end and tap the beek and the bird will open its mouth for me to put some in his crop. He has been alive for a week now and I am sure this would work with any baby bird.
