A Mauser Karibiner 98k uses v-notch iron-sights. Look down the barrel of your rifle. You should see that there is a small triangle at the very end of the muzzle. Now look at the sights that are just past the bolt. There should be a little "v." Line up the very top of the little triangle with the top of the v so that the triangle fills in the v and if you were to draw a line across the viewpoint it would be straight.
