It's all about the light, light reflection and color of what is in front of the transparent materials. Opaque objects are used in cameras to make a clearer object through the camera therefore it makes a nicer image. Also, if something in the camera was translucent, you wouldn't see what picture your taking- whats the point in that? Hope i helped x ;]
Transparent and opaque materials are used in camera's so the person who is taking the picture is able to see what they are taking a picture of.
i dont know i am asking you

because if something in the camera was translucent you wouldn't be able to see what picture you're taking, so what's the point in that?
Opaque substances that are used to color other materials are called pigments. Some call them dyes.
Transparent materials allow light to freely pass through them. Translucent materials also allow light to pass through them, but change the colour of the light.
"Opaque" and "transparent" refer to the amount of light that passes through the colour, not the colour itself. "Opaque" is a term used to describe any solid colour that light does not pass through. If you put an opaque colour it over another colour you will not see the colour below through it. "Transparent" is a term used to describe any colour that light passes through in any of many varying degrees. If you paint a transparent colour over another colour, you will be able, to some degree, to see the colour(s) and the ground (paper, canvas, whatever you are painting on) through the top coat.
The word is opaque.
No, that is what opaque means. Light does not go through an opaque object. An object that is translucent will allow light through, but is opaque enough to keep you from seeing clearly through it (think about frosted glass used for bathroom windows). Transparent is "see through".
Metal and plastic are used to make cameras along with glass/perspex reflectors.

Translucent or opaque materials imply less light penetrating capability or distorted ( as opposed to clear) view through material. Therefore these tupe of materials is used to cast a soft light glow into a space, so therefore one would use these materials to filter or cast a reduced light for the purpose of giving a space a less light than required, a soft glow or tinted light outlook as a result. The reverse is perhaps the view through the medium is not really the best outlook - so placing an opaque medium between still gives you light for the space but not clear view of the outlook beyond.
The main reason is to allows more lights to pass through the door so that shoppers can easily see the merchandise inside rge shops. In contrast, no one will like people to see their own homes if their doors are transparent as there will be no privacy. As such, the home doors are usually opaque.
may be some kind of materials which has the property of transparency and also which can be used for conducting, insulating, semiconducting.
