By his atoning sacrifice are we justified, we escape having to live forever in our sins, for He paid the price. An example is, someone pays your bail while your are in prison, you are then justified in being set free.
Trying to earn the eternal life.Gal:2:16: Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
We have all been justified by the blood of Jesus, the son of God: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, (Romans 3.23 to 25)
Justified by faith simply means, "just if I never sinned." Jesus has taken away all of our sins. Therefore through faith in Jesus it is like we never sinned, because Jesus died on the cross and took them away.
Because Jesus died on the cross for us, we don't have to pay the price of our sins - death. Instead, we simply have to believe in him and that he truly loves us and died for us, or have faith, and we will be saved. Therefore, our sin is justified by faith in Jesus Christ. It is paid for by his death. Hope this helps!
Galatians 2:16New International Version (NIV)16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. This is not to say we are to do no works. A true disciple of Christ will do good works as He did:Ephesians 2:10New International Version (NIV)10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Jews believe many different things regarding this topic. A common answer is that G-d reviews the actions of every human being, Jewish or not.The Bible says:A Jew is justified the same way as a gentile (non Jew):Rom 3:29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,Rom 3:30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. The Bible says there is only one way to be justified before God and that is through the the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.Rom 3:24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,by faith we accept that redemption:Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Saul / Paul believed Jesus is the Son of God:2Corinthians 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us..............Saul/Paul believed that one day Jesus will return to earth to judge all of mankind:2Timothy 4:1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:Saul/Paul believed that a person is saved/put right with God through faith in Jesus:Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.1Thessalonians 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Jacob did sin. Everyone sins, and that is why no one can be justified by works. For if it was possible to be justified by our works, there would be no need for grace. Since the beginning of the world, everyone has sinned - everyone but Jesus. That is why his death took away our sins.
Left justified
Paul frequently wrote of justification in his epistles. These passages stand out:Romans 3:19-26 - Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.1 Corinthians 6:11 - And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.Galatians 2:16 - knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.Galatians 3:11 - But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for "the just shall live by faith."[Quotes from NKJV]
Christianity works from the top down. The Christian faithful are not in a position to second guess decisions made by God.
jesus death redeemed us by reconciling us to the father god thus creating a close intimacy with him and we are now justified by faith and not condemnation
