The earth can cope with much hotter temperatures, but human, animal and plant life can not. Living things are in great danger if we cannot stop global warming.
Global warming is the most serious problem facing us at the moment.
It's impossible to say at the moment. Warming ocean waters are expanding, and the ice caps and glaciers are melting and running into the sea. If global warming is not stopped there will be many coastal lands under salt water. Some Pacific Islands countries like Kiribati will definitely be under water and many others will be threatened.
dont know look in the book !!
One view is that global warming is a serious problem that is happening because man is adding extra greenhouse gases to the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels and by cutting down forests.Another view is that the world has also already been through these stages long before and it is nature taking its course. It is also that the world is aging rapidly. It is just the way of the world.Answer:To be honest, there are so many views on the subject that this hard drive would be full just mentioning all of them. The bulk of the world seems to believe that man is adding to the global warming that is occurring naturally. Over fifty percent believe this, although more and more people are starting to realize that they are not being given all of the facts. here is a typical view of a skeptic:"Many realize that the Antarctic has been growing, not shrinking. Sea Levels are not climbing faster today. They are even starting to recede. 1938 was a record warm year. The 1400's were even warmer it appears. The opposition's view to man made global warming simply says that the data we see is very minimal and selective. No recent warming past 1939 levels and no sea level increase spells disaster for those that depend on income from grants. There is no money in pointing out nothing is going wrong. You only get grants to scare people. "We do not know what is going on with climate, other then it always is changing.
The primary cause of global warming is the burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) in industry, transport and to generate electricity. All these processes release extra carbon dioxide which has been hidden away for millions of years. This extra CO2 is disrupting the natural carbon cycle which has kept the planet at a comfortable temperature for as long as life has existed. This extra CO2 is causing the enhanced, or accelerated greenhouse effect in the atmosphere.

Yes, it certainly is happening.
Just about all nations are causing global warming, some more than others, of course. China and the US are the nations with the largest carbon footprints at the moment.
I believe you man ecosystem (not ecosyetem ).The stability of the earth's ecosystem is at peril at the moment because of global warming.

There have been various periods of warming and cooling through the history of the earth. They typically last for thousands of years, often tens of thousands. At the moment there is only one global warming taking place. This one has been happening since 1850 and is the fastest the world has ever seen.
to tell the Truth nothing at the moment that would have an immediate effect because the changes that we make now to stop global warming will only be visible in about 20 years so the best advice i have at the moment is to plant a tree walk to your destinations and turn off the light when your done in a room. P.S. don't shower longer than 5 minutes because then you actually start using more water than you would've used in a bath. cheers.
At the current moment, no part of Manhattan is under water. However, with global warming, many fear that some or much of this iconic city may at some point fall below sea level.
Forests take in the CO2 in the atmosphere, and CO2 (carbon dioxide) is bad for environment at the moment, with like global warming and stuff. stuff like that basically ... :))))))))))))))))))))))))))
The condition of the outside air at a particular moment is
i hope so they say that the only reason nature is doing this si bc of global warming and new zealand has no ozone layer and the crack in the earth will not reach Melbourne so we are pritty safe at the moment
There are two words I can think of regarding time in a moment.now = time at this momentthen = time at that moment
