Bishons range from being 9-13in tall, that's just a little under an average persons knee. There size all depends on their gene's of coarse so depending on its background you could end up with a Bishon on the larger or smaller side.
It's perfectly fine unless it has any onion or onion seasoning on it which is very bad for bishons.
Usually a wirebrush is what you need, but some bishons are sensative to this, if this is the case use the brushes with the little plastic ball ends.
They eat most of the same stuff other dogs do, just don't feed them onions or chocolate, which is very poisonous to them. Bishons are also known to love carrots, I feed my own three a few each night as a bed-time snack.

Bishons are very family orientated and these two are missing their family. It may take a day or two to settle in. By breed the Bishon is a happy little dog and enjoys walks and some love to swim. Take the dog out during the day or evening to some place that is quiet; away from traffic and you can let them off leash and play stick or ball with them (which they love.) This will get their mind off missing their family and get rid of that extra energy enough where they will look forward to those every day walks and their appetite should improve. Bishons love to play so even at home throw them the ball for a few minutes and praise them often. Dogs that are healthy will eat eventually. Another tip, if you are having chicken or beef for dinner then put a few scraps on top of their dog food. Most dogs cannot resist people food.
All dogs can swim. But the bichon frise prefers to avoid water. They are more of the lap dog type.
