That all depends on the breed, as there can be more variation of cow size within a breed than between breeds. Some Angus cows can grow to be as heavy as over 2000 lbs, with bulls over 3000 lbs, which is the average size of Chianina cows and bulls, respectively. Normally cows (at least those with moderate frame size) will mature only up to 1600 lbs and bulls around 2400 lbs.
