Theoretically, an event horizon can reach really any size and as far as anyone knows, has no upper limit. The largest black hole ever discovered, if placed where the Sun is, would have its event horizon reach just past Sedna (About 789 au). The black hole is approximately 40 billion times the mass of the Sun and located in the center of galactic cluster PKS 0745-19.

Unlike stars, black holes do not have a known mass limit.
