Each of the parashot (the plural of parasha, or parashah) is a section of a sidra or weekly portion on the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible). However, each sidra is not of equal length, and each parashah is not necessarily equal to exactly one seventh of each sidra - so the size, or length, of eash parashah varies.
The parashah for today (Sidra Ki Teitzei, Deuteronomy 21.22 - 22.7) is 310 words (not including Rashi's commentary), the one for tomorrow (Sidra Ki Teitzei, Deuteronomy 22:8 - 23:7) , at 795 words, is considerably longer.

A parasha is a weekly Torah portion read in synagogues as part of the Jewish religious practice. It typically covers a specific section of the Torah and is read aloud during services, with commentary and discussion often following the reading.
