The three biggest libraries in the world (by collection numbers):

The biggest library in the world is the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., USA. Built back in 1800, with a collection of more than 30,000,000 books, it has books in just about every language.

Coming in second is the National Library of China, Beijing, which has around 26.3 million books in its huge building and it holds the richest collection of Chinese historical documents and writings in the world.

In third place is the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg with 20 million books.
