It depends on were you live. I believe in most places you only need a USDA licence to breed and sell them, not to own them. You should contact your local animal-control authority or human society just in case!

A leopard geckos enemies are other lizards or geckos. NEVER put two of them in the same tank especially two males. you may not have problems at the time but I guarantee that you will later. Leopard geckos like living alone. if you put them together they will eventually fight until death.
If you attempt to breed Bettas splendens in a 1 gallon tank you are doomed to fail. Sorry. The minimum sized tank to breed Bettas in successfully is around 10 gallons.
no it cannot die in a 20 gallon tank because i have 3 baby lepord geckos in 10 gallon tank
