What I find good about guinea pigs is that they aren't nearly as big as rabbits, so they are easy to hold and pet. I am the owner of two one-year-old guinea pigs and since it is common for guinea pigs to rarely live over the age of five, I think one year old is about at adulthood, so I doubt there will be a lot more growing.
However, I own two males and haven't had a female so possibly the female growing sequence is different but I am guessing they are similar.
Firstly, the size of the baby guinea pig depends on the litter or breed they are. My two males are from different litters (but were living together when I got them) and are different sizes but they grew the same, (the bigger one when a baby is the bigger one now.)
When I first got them they were barely balls of fluff, they could basically sit in my hands when I cupped them (and my hands are pretty small) So they were basically not much more than five inches. But they grew a lot. You don't really notice it when you see them every morning, and they don't grow radically or anything but I can see the difference now. When really stretched out they'd maybe be possibly 7(MAYBE 8) inches. But usually when they're sitting they are around six inches. They aren't big animals but they are certainly loveable.
hope i could help,

Female guinea pigs sexually mature very early. They can actually begin to reproduce at 3 to 4 weeks of age. Pregnancy is especially hard on a guinea pig, but even more so at this age. It is usually recommended that you do not allow your guinea pig to breed, but if you are going to, wait until they are at least 7 months of age to allow them in with a male.
Well, first of all, guana is the abbreviation of Guiana Island. Now you know what guana means. Second, a pig is a young swine that is not mature for it's age. So a guana pig is a pig that is from Guiana Island. Unless you mean guinea pig. A guinea pig means a small stout-bodied short-eared tailless domesticated rodent often kept as a pet.
Um mm... my guinea pig loves me a lot so yea
it is not just the female guinea pig. all guinea pigs need exersise but never ever get a running wheel for the guinea pig their backs are so sensitive.
Yes I think so my Guinea pig had babies and we don't think she came in contact with a male
Spend time with your guinea pig everyday , etc, grooming, rubbing , ...and so on .
When I got my guinea pig, we didn't know she was pregnant, so about a month later, my sister got one that wasn't pregnant. It was a little less that a month after that that my guinea pig had 2 babies. During that time, though, Molly, the pregnant guinea pig, was acting very territorial, and Milly, the non pregnant guinea pig, was staying by herself and not having anything to do with Molly. So make sure that if you put a pregnant guinea pig with a non pregnant guinea pig, that the non pregnant guinea pig is a girl, or else there WILL be trouble.
If your guinea pig's tooth chips off, don't worry. Guinea pig's teeth are constantly growing, so your guinea pig's tooth will grow back.
If your guinea pig is an old male, he may have weakened muscles near his bottom so he can't poo. You have to push it out with a friend so one can hold the guinea pig and the other can get the faeces out.
they will ween at 4 weeks usually so around 5-6
they are so cute
